It feels a little odd to be preparing a Thanksgiving feast for only two people. Dru's off to a friend's house tomorrow - I was invited, but I'd already made plans with Lori to do an orphan's Thanksgiving.

I ran off to Safeway last night at half past eleven, and got everything except the turkey. That was procured at lunch today - I invited Dru to lunch and dragged him over to the grocery store after, then asked him to take it home.

I miss having large numbers of family around - I think, if nothing else and Mom and Dad are stuck in Colorado, next year I'll try to get down to the Bay Area and celebrate with the cousins. Though if Kate gets into CC, we might try to get a Freeman reunion going in Pagosa Springs. That would be nice - and I'm sure everyone would love the hot springs.

I made a worm bin from a few empty Rubbermaid tubs this past weekend. That was a lot of drilling. And sometime I'll bring back John's drill. I ordered worms online - easier than dropping by the Seattle Tilth Association, and they should be here sometime next week - enough for me to get together some sort of bedding. I've been saving tea leaves for two weeks - they'll certainly have enough to eat.

They can't have TG leftovers - those are mine.
