I need to post this to PNIS and the Portland slasher list, but I'm being lazy, and that requires actually firing up the email client.

Men With Brooms is playing Friday, June 7th at 7pm at the Harvard Exit. (807 E Roy St.) It's just a couple blocks from where Broadway becomes 10th, so the 7 should take us right there.

I figure it's a good excuse for a sleepover.

Except... Oh fuck. It's sold out.

I'll check the box office tomorrow.

A friend of mine who does reviews of the SIFF every year, sent along the following info when I said that 'Men with Brooms' was sold out:

The second screening of MAPMAKER on Friday, June 7th @ 9:30pm at the Harvard Exit has been cancelled. It will be replaced by a repeat screening of MEN WITH BROOMS, added by popular demand(!).

Tell your friend to call quick. The 4:30 pm show on the following week is almost sold out and the 7 pm show on the 7th is totally sold out. However, her best bet for a Gross sighting in person will be the June 7th 9:30 pm show. The guests rarely appear at the early matinees.
