Plot bunny!

Got jumped by this one on the morning walk:
I was joking yesterday with my boss that I was really a triple agent - spying on the Russians and the Americans for each other and really reporting to the Canadians.
Soooo....

Take Alex Krycek. Put him in Chicago.
Take Fox Mulder. Give him a lead on AK in Chicago.
Add in Ray Kowalski, Benton Fraser and Diefenbaker to the bust.
Stir vigorously.
Watch Ray, Fraser, Mulder and Dief chase after Alex. Watch them chase him across country and back.
Run, Alex, run!

One whine and a lot of cheese

So like, the Mac client for this thing is way crippled from the PC version. Suck.

Okie - that's my gripe for the day. I got to do stuff today - our head dude (some ancient chairperson-like doctor) came looking for help on Outlook Express, and no one else was around, so I waved my magic fingers (go ahead, laugh - I got talent, baby) and all his problems were solved.

Half an hour later, his secretary snags my boss to go fix said problems. Boss-man leads the little trek down the hall, with my other co-worker and me tagging along - I'm all nervous because of some fear that something else has broken, which would totally destroy my cred, and then the secretary calls us off. 'No, nevermind, she fixed it all.'

I kick such ass. It's so cool to come into a job and know what the hell I'm doing. My self-confidence is doing so much better than a couple of weeks ago.

Oh yeah, and I did get to my initial orientation, and got my hot little hands on my bus pass, and this huge stack of forms to fill out. I still need to do the full orientation, which will be a boredom-packed day next week. I hope my hand doesn't break before then.

I would love to try that line out sometime. I'll probably never get the chance, alas, but just for the double-take alone...
