Cool Sundays
Jul. 1st, 2001 03:21 pmI've finished my books - there were only the three paperbacks, and the two hardbacks I'd read before, but wanted, and don't exactly want to read now. So I'm done now. The freezer is still encrusted in ice, and I need to defrost it, but it's full, dammit. I need to work more on using frozen stuff up.
I'm not really up to an outing for sheets, either. <whine> I'd have to move my car! </whine> It's just... I still haven't gotten all the unemployment crap sorted out, and my best means of avoiding buying things is to avoid going out shopping. Not exactly a hardship, really, as my patience with malls often runs out way before my feet do.
I could hit the outlet mall, though - it's an hour's drive, and it's a nice, sunny afternoon. Sunday traffic shouldn't be as much of a stonewall bitch as it is on the weekdays (when I thumb my nose at the cars from either a bus or my own two feet.)
Or I could sit here in my cool basement playing Pharaoh and ignoring my writing.
Decisions, decisions.
