Uninspired
Oct. 5th, 2001 03:47 pmLife is running along at a right quick trot, and I'm just... not wanting to write anything. It may be the newness of the house, the thrill of having people I can actually talk to around me, and who tug me off with them on various pursuits of karaoke and food and fun. I've got a couple of journal entries that I keep swearing to myself I'll upload and backdate and all that, just to get them up, but...
No dice. My inner couch potato is whining about how hard it is to do it from the Mac, over a dial up instead of the PC that I've got set up in my room - but that one's net-less. And the PC at work has the crappiest monitor known to man. Eh.
Or maybe my muses got lost again. I could have sworn that the few I had left: Methos, Duncan, Connor, Matthew and Alex, had all boarded the plane with me in Seattle, but did they come back from Atlanta? Nope. Maybe they snuck into Ali's suitcase and headed to Tampa with her. If so, I'll get 'em back soon enough.
Oh, Ali? Don't forget to call my parents before you arrive. I don't have a firm arrival time to give them, since you're driving, so a little advance notice would be nice. And Rhi - make her call, yes?
Snerd. I think I'll run random updates on the computers until it's time to go home.
And I don't know if I'm going home immediately. The pool's calling pretty damn loud - I've slacked off seriously in the last month. Then there's the poetry thing at 7:30, and when I finally get home, John will have lasagna. bliss
