Buffy, eat your heart out
Dec. 19th, 2001 07:06 amWasn't really the Slayer in my dream, no preternatural strength, but I had the gang, and the ultra hot boyfriend, and the icky things to kill. Intelligent books, too, which is how it started - with the book talking back to me in the middle of a cabinet showroom/warehouse. I had to run with it, chased down the maze-like halls until Lori pointed out some tall cabinets to hide in while my pursuers (looking much like a group of football players) charged by.
We were heading for an island in the Caribbean, one where I could talk to the trees, and listen to them talk back. I wasn't quite ready, something to do with coins, but I could call Mom and have her pack some of my things once I was in the hotel down in the islands. I got there, feeling a little disassociated - I was two people, not just one, but it was still working out, and rather fun once the hottie ranger boyfriend (shades of Aragorn?) showed up. The seven-foot orcs showed up too, but I had a lovely axe, and a door to defend. Choopy-choppy!
They bled green, and once dawn came, I had to return to the hotel, to see if I could find out more about the intelligent book in my bag.
Then, waking. Ow.
