Confessions and other practices
May. 31st, 2002 11:43 amI've got Savage Garden's Affirmation in my ears - I love this song. I would put it on repeat, but there's Barenaked Ladies on this playlist, too.
I'm so bored at work. Boredboredbored.
I've been feeling like I needed to start working on my stomach again. I'd been doing situps and all for two weeks until I got sick, curled up in a ball for a week, and stopped all exertion. So crunches and reverse curls, and I hate situps, so I don't do them, but everything else, and three days in and my stomach is all achey. I want to not stop again.
I sometimes sing in the morning when I'm walking to work. Scales, real songs and snippets of songs that aren't and might never be. My favorite song to sing is an old Christmas carol in Latin. The words feel so good rolling off my tongue. I don't always stick to the original tune, but let it ramble by itself.
It's easier and cheaper to eat breakfast and skip lunch or only have chips and a banana for lunch. Today, though, I'm heading up to do bank stuff and mail candy to Dru, so I'll indulge in tempura or something.
I want my brother back. We've gone two years without seeing each other before, but I'm tired of that. I can feel how tired he is of Africa. 196 days left.
I watched Men in Black twice last night - once with the commentary, and then once again to hear/see all the funny lines.
