The cat is velcroed to my side. It's kind of uncomfortable, because it's not exactly cool in my room, and when a ten pound lump of black fur decides that he needs to be surgically grafted to your leg (and then maybe changes his mind and moves up to your waist, and from there to your back...) It's hot, people!

So, a break from Shelters of Stone that Meg lent me to see if I can't get more Austen-parody out of my system. I feel bad, neglecting it for all of a week. SoS, surprisingly, has very little in the way of sex scenes, quite different from the previous books. I find myself skimming quite a bit over all the lush descriptions. Prehistoric Southern France. Oh nice, let's move on.

Saw Bourne Identity this noon with Gordon. Fun flick - it's been long enough since I read the book that the plot was mostly new. Recognized Adebisi from OZ, though it took me a few scenes to remember where I'd seen him before. After the movie, we headed across the street to get more urine de-odorizer from Petco, and I got the cat's flea stuff, as it's that time of year again.

They're all sporting lovely little mohawks down their backs now. It could be why Hobbes is such a clingy little bastard, but he was doing it even before I anointed them.
