Feline Seal of Approval

Calvin approves of tonight's culinary experiment. He licked clean the remnants of two bowls of:

Cambell's Ready-to-Serve Tomato soup with garlic and herbs
1 cup of Cabernet Sauvignon
1/2 cup of mixed shredded Romano and Parmesan cheeses

Next time I think I might let it sit in the crock-pot all day with a lot of basil. But still, successful experiment.

The latest fashion in... hats?

I've found my mortarboard from college. I don't remember it taking five bobby pins to attach it to my head, but that may simply be the fog of memory. I think I like the puffy hats for the advanced degrees - they're less... square. (Lovely reasoning that, to acquire a degree simply to improve one's headgear.)
