Mar. 21st, 2003 07:12 pmBleah. I took the day off from work to sulk, and I am SO not motivated. For anything. Good thing I'm GM'ing Sunday instead of tomorrow. Also good that I have the next few games sketched out already.
But right now? Hermithermithermit. Figure out which classes I can take as a non-matriculating student (ick. paperwork.) to up my GPA, plan for the GRE, and consider asking my boss for a current recommendation. Play some computer games and read fanfic. Eat comfort food. Glare Colorado-wards and make my parents call me back.
Cool links for the day I spent entirely non-productively:
Wil Wheaton mentioned a cool program called Books for Soldiers. While I hold the opinion that Bush's IQ is probably the same as his shoe size and this war is quite simply the worst thing he could do to better the situation in Iraq (and for that matter, the public opinion the world holds for us,) the lesson we learned from the Vietnam War should not be lost: our soldiers are not responsible for war. That Idiot Bush is. Anyway, this sounds like something right up my alley - sending books overseas to hopelessly bored Americans.
Lori started a story-finding list for Harry Potter fiction. And when I remember to, I'll write up something for the lists I'm actually on.
AJ Hall has written the penultimate Draco/Neville story, and I finally found her top-level homepage (and will, of course, be bookmarking it post-haste).
