Awwww...

Dru just called me - his friend came over yesterday to entertain him and teach him to knit. The Xbox didn't last a day, it seems, because he asked me for a pattern of a tank top he wants to knit for his girlfriend.

Days like this, I think I hit the jackpot in the relative sweepstakes.

The repair guys just called me with the estimate.

I told Dru I'd help him pay for the damage.

At these prices, I might as well just buy him another car and call it a day.

So, how does one get rid of a non-functioning car? (God knows the parts are worth more than the whole.)

Have I posted this yet? I know I wrote it in one go a month or so back, but...

I've a tendency lately to write and then let it sit and marinate for a while before going back, editing, and finally wanting to post.
