Apr. 1st, 2004 08:48 pmI have had my mac&cheese comfort food (Annie's organic white cheese shells - very nummy) and my gut-splittingly funny fic (Bagenders by Lady Alyssa and Random Flatmate) so I'm all better now.
Dru found a wrecker to take Turnbull away, but I had to get all the random crap out of it, and so I reserved a Flexcar to drive over to Dru's after work, drive to the auto body shop where the car is, drive back to Dru's and then return the car.
That didn't happen. Dru putzed around giving me the title, and then traffic happened (like it does), and so I just cut out the last bit of the trip and just tossed everything in my cube at work. And I was still a half-hour late getting the car back. Someone had reserved it after me, so I have to pay the $30 penalty.
So I have a crate of random car tools, two gallons of water and several maps waiting for me at work tomorrow. I'll have to restash them under my desk first thing. Urgle.
But now I have tea and a purring kitty that I'm freaking out with hysterical bursts of laughter.
