Hobbes has this demanding yowl that lets me know his food bowl is empty - I have a gravity feeder for him and Laurier, and so sometimes I get caught with no dry food. Unfortunately, Hobbes thinks that his wet food is a treat, and not 'real' food. He can tell the difference, and lets me know it.
Only it's Easter Sunday evening, and when I was out earlier, I was already carrying stuff, and I didn't think they ate that much!
So I do my workout before work tomorrow and spend lunch getting cat food. Maybe even cart Dru's car stuff over to his from work.
Today was beautiful and gorgeous and holy lord, my shoulders hurt. The arms and chest are already easing into a tan, but the tops of my shoulders? Ow. Whinewhine. Anyway.
I did laundry and then scooted over to Fremont to have tea (iced, thank you.) with Chris and play go-between between him and Kris. He showed off his drums, and we wandered a bit around Fremont (sans drums - they were sitting in the rehearsal space.) I found a shop that had a bin of ties outside 25 cents apiece or 5 for a dollar. I have been wanting to find something like this for *ages*, I swear - I want to make a fluttery skirt out of a zillion weird ties, and now I have 15 - it's a start, at least.
Now, if I can only find my seam ripper.
