Again with the tired. It being almost midnight, I suppose I have a little more excuse for it tonight.

Up early this morning (well, before 9) and out to my P-Patch to plant the tomatoes and basil. I need to do a bit more weeding, bark the pathways and mulch the beds. Some of the pathway weeding will be taking care of by laying newspaper down, covering it with bark and rocks so it doesn't blow away, and then wetting it down. No-dig weeding tricks!

Scampered inside, fielded a call from Dru who was a bit surprised to hear my weekend was full, and I promised him a celebratory dinner Tuesday (after he gets his cast off) while munching toast. I just managed to change and run out again to catch the bus.

Scampered down to the Tilth Edible Plant sale and did math for them for three hours. I had my patter down, too: "We're a non-profit organization, so we don't charge sales tax, but would you like to make a donation to the Tilth Association for a similar amount? Ten percent? Or perhaps round up to [X amount]?" It was fun enough - I had a giant smile on my face the whole time. I couldn't keep it up if I had to sell things for a living, but for a weekend fling, I enjoyed every little dollar extra. I have vague suspicions that my cleavage-shirt may have helped, as well.

Was home with just enough time to shower and change (I was covered with potting soil!) before Lori swung by to pick me up for a barbeque at Greg&Pete's. City of Heroes and farts were the conversations of the evening. It always amuses me when bodily functions get discussed (and traded - oi!) with such verve and vigour. We saw Kill Bill Vol1 and I've just now staggered home.

Oh, sweet pillow, I've missed you so! Come to me my darling, and give me your weird dreams with banana nut muffins and porny Percy!
