Holiday Weekend?
Two days playing (with some breaks)
City of Heroes

My hero is called
AmazonLibrarian
You are surprised? Why?

Oh, I read some and
soaked up the sun by the pool
otherwise, gaming.

Today, though, I was
*supposed* to meet Chris for luncheon
somewhere in Ballard

But they are closed on
Mondays, the heartless bastards,
and also, lunch.

Instead, we headed
For Agua Verde and a
blue margarita

Chris hadn't ever
been to the oasis of
taco-y delight

This was rectified
And a good time had by all
Or at least us two

Except when we scared
each other, but I think I won,
with the term 'woobie'

I explained, of course,
and he was disturbed by it
So I'm sure I won

Not that we keep score
Or anything so silly
But if we did, well...

Now I must read (oh no!)
from the bible for my class
(not that there briar patch!)

And prepare to talk
(or write) at length, in detail
(Brer Bear, not the patch!)

And on pain of pain,
I must not, not no how, play
