Birthday Plans
Aug. 10th, 2004 03:45 pmAs you all know (or should - honestly! ;) my natal anniversary is Friday. And while it should be a national holiday (we're sadly lacking in August holidays, and what better excuse to celebrate?) it sadly is not. I'm still taking the day off.
I thought about making plans earlier, but first my parents were coming, then they weren't, and that pesky work thing consumed my brain, so now I'm all at sixes and sevens. I still want to have some sort of get together, and I'm thinking Tea Party.
So, this Saturday, the 14th, in Seattle, at vaguely 2 or 3 in the afternoon, I'm going to High Tea. I'm thinking the Georgian Tea Room at the Fairmont downtown, as it's suitably swank. Of course, I'll need an idea of numbers, so if you want to come, let me know (comments, email) and I'll make reservations. (And firm up the time.) No need for presents, though a nice teacup is always appreciated.
And really - the invitation is completely open. Meeting new people is just as nice as getting together with old friends.
