It's raining. Again. But then, Seattle - surprise in no way enters the equation.

I hovered around at work just long enough for a break (otherwise I'd have long been gone - bossman is out on vacation) and then walked down to the UVillage to catch the bus there. It passed me, and what was I to do? Wait at the stop another half hour in the restarting drizzle, or skip on down to the little pizza place tucked next to the B&N, and have myself a little salad and spinach pizza?

Ok, so it was raining a little harder almost an hour later, but my timing was perfect for the bus, and their deep dish spinach pizza is to die for. Plus, *spinach*, so I have no pizza-guilt to worry about.

I've Friday/Monday off to respectively work the Friends of the Library and recuperate after. Friday is setup, where I shall scout out the books available (my ulterior motive - I'm so bad ;) even before the Members presale that evening. I get two free and six to purchase even before we open the doors: perfect for the rabid bibliophile within. I have my little instruction sheet and map and member's card all ready by the door, right on top of my wonderful wheeled bag.

I'm not quite sure what I'll do Saturday - I'm not working the sale, but there's a work party at the P-Patch, and I've a pile of laundry begging in the corner. Sunday is another break-my-back-hauling books day, and I've promised myself Monday to pamper myself. A little window shopping, hunting down blue for my hair and a massage if I feel too awful.
