Weekend update
Dec. 13th, 2004 11:50 amWaitwaitwait. It's lunchtime. How'd it get to be noon so fast?
One way or another, we may have a new hire before the end of the year. I'm prayng for it, at least, and bossman wants to get all the interviews over in the next two weeks. It's been a year now - let's not make it two.
Gaming Saturday night, and I think we've almost got John convinced to follow us to WoW. That'll make everyone in the gaming group. Whee! Share the addiction.
I managed to get all my brownies made in time for the cookie exchange Sunday. Ran out of transit time, so I Flexcar-ed it down to their place, and was quite grateful for all the times I got lost with Meg moving her plants over there: I was one of the few people who didn't get lost. The weird thing is that I still haven't looked at a map to find their place yet, and I navigate best with a map. Couldn't stay too long, as I didn't have the car reserved for the entire afternoon, but it was a fun thing. Their house is still a work in progress, but it's huge for a Seattle house and they're going to have so much fun.
I've handed off cookies to Dru (we had dinner last night) and laid out a plate of more at work today (just checked - all gone) I've managed to eat my fair share, though. Between these and Thanksgiving, I should look at that walk-run program again.
Dad sent me my Christmas present: a card with a stick figure drawing holding an ipod and a check. I saw the drawing and was just - awww. I love my Dad. :) Mom, too, but the card elicits the Dad-love most.
Date tomorrow: someone I found on OKCupid. I should re-blue my hair tonight; need to nab some lab gloves so my hands don't go blue as well.
