Not so much a job 'hunt' as a job 'stumble right over it'

So I was randomly poking through job sites the other week, and came across this one that seemed to me to be a *perfect* fit. Like, the One True Job Description. Only, it's in Austin. As in Texas. However, given that I actually know people who live in Texas, and I'm not simply a Californian looking at the next biggest state with envy, I did a little digging, and well... I applied. (I can afford a house larger than a shoebox with a yard bigger than a postage stamp.)

Resume got input electronically Friday, the cover letter Tuesday and all of a sudden they want a phone interview.

Holy shit! They want me!

I mean, obviously, because I'm a guru and everyone should love me and despair, but...

They want to talk to me!

*hyperventilates into a paper bag*

I mean, I'm going to have to a do a lot more pro/con-ing before I even think of accepting or declining an offer that might not be made, but the ego, she ees verra happy.
