Meanwhile, back at the ranch
Jun. 18th, 2020 06:08 amI got a call yesterday that there was a leak in my condo. Much panicking later, and it's not actually in my unit. It's ABOVE my unit, leaking all the way through my space into the area beneath.
GREAT.
While I'm 1400 miles away.
SUPER.
I woke up at 3am and my brain switched on. SHUT UP, brain... nope, I'm awake, staring at the ceiling and my tiny floofprincess cat now thinks it's time for pets. That's the one ray of sunshine in this shit parade: my cats are with me and not terrified by the troupe of people who will be going through my unit drying it out, cleaning it up and possibly repairing all the things (floor, ceiling... I don't even know how much yet.)
