I am in want today.

I am in want of a paycheck, with which to pay the bills that are now loudly proclaiming their importance. Like, the cable bill.

I am in want of some sun, in which to lie and read and slowly tan myself back from the pale fishbelly white pall Seattle has cast upon me.

I am in want of some human presence in the house that I don't despise - someone male and companiable, and warm.

I am in want of more bookshelves, more storage to fill my spaces up with books and things - gather them around me like a packrat, but a neat packrat.

I am in want of a new wardrobe - soft, sleek and good looking, to replace my ratty jeans and overlarge tshirts. I want to preen in cashmere and silk.

I am in want of a reliable muse - one who won't flit off to Bora-Bora on a whim, who will chivy me away from Imperialism 2 and other world-conquering games and make me write for once.
