Baked bliss
Dropped by the grocery store on the way home. Sourdough baguette and Alouette. Ah, bliss.
At the very least, it'll tide me over until dinner's ready.

I knew I liked you. *Grins* Alouette and baguette's one of my favorites, too -- particularly sourdough. Art thou a crunchy fan, as opposed to squishy?

When I was a wee thing, picnics consisted of sourdough, alouette, salami, cheddar cheese and grapes.
Crunchy or soft? Well - it depends. Bread for toast and sandwiches should be soft, but a good baguette is always crunchy.
