Pickling joy
I spent most of today over at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sisterfish's place, pickling a jillion cucumbers (the really big ones we named Randy and Raoul before we chopped them up!) and a half-jilllion jars of beets and sweet onions. I'm thoroughly a-squee over the beet/onions - 9 large onions and 3 beets the size of a baby's head (though a baby's head would likely have been harder to peel) made 16 beautifully pink jars of sweet pickly goodness. I'm gonna have to do those again - they're so pretty!
