Observations from a Sun-Lover

Or 5:43, a couple of days, take your pick - that's the time I've been waking up at lately. Not that my alarm is going off - that's set for 6. But the sun rises today at 5:48, and hey, my body doesn't care exactly when the sun peeks over the Cascades. A few minutes one way or another isn't a big deal, as long as I'm up with the sun.

Sucks in winter. It takes me forever to haul my ass out of bed when I won't even get to work before the sun rises. I had to adjust my schedule for a mere fifteen minutes outside before the light faded. Otherwise I'd likely go stark raving nuts. But now, we've just barely passed the Equinox, and already I'm wide awake at ass o'clock in the morning.

I don't mind much. I rather like the quiet, leisurely pace in the morning that this wakefulness gives me.
