Maybe I'm taking this sun thing a little too far. It was light out by 5:45, and guess what? It woke me up. My alarm doesn't even start going off until 6. grumpgrumpgrump

And I can't find my HuskyCard/bus pass. Which means I'm walking until I either a) find it or b) shell out for the replacement.

Don't get me wrong - I'm as cheerful as sin for a Monday morning. I'm also yawning fit to crack my head open. Hey wait - caffeine. That's a good idea. I can feel my synapses firing faster at just the suggestion.

Dammit. I was quite happily in denial. I did not need a plotroach to morph into a plot bunny and sit on my shoulder at work.

And Matthew - where does he get off butting in? It was inevitable, I suppose, him being in the FBI and all. This is going to be, um... yeah. Fuck.

Pfah! Not really. My game and cd are still slated to arrive manana, but the thing hasn't been seen since leaving Illinois on the 17th. I should know - I've been checking the UPS site. It's kinda cool, watching things leapfrog across the various checkpoints - like my book hopping from Portland to Redmond to Seattle and at my door before I knew it. (and then read before the cats got around to investigating the box.)

Well, I'm still begging my boss for more people to upgrade, since we want to get this shit done and over with by the 1st, and it never hurts to look eager and overacheiving for the boss-man. 2 today, 4 tomorrow, assorted calls in between. And I've still got hours to play with in spare time, and Krycek, the little weasel, decided to drop by.

So now I've gotten another 5 pages written in two different stories with two different Immies. This is so cool - I'm always amazed when I sit back and realized I've actually cranked out more than a paragraph at a time, and it's halfway decent, and not painful outlining or plotting or dialogue that goes nowhere, but I hate throwing out.

Working with the RoundRobins in L&C fandom was fun, because we ended up with decent (mostly) stories that only took 20 minutes of exertion at a time. I'd love to try and get 3-4 authors together on a Saturday with a plan and a plot, and write all day long.

When I try for my own stories that are longer than a page or two, I end up throwing my hands up in disgust somewhere in the middle and let the vicious block-beast have the damn thing. That's where the Nephilim is languishing now - all of a sudden I can't visualise what's going on, and when that happens I need a kick in the pants. I don't have a good pants-kicker right now.

And there's the buzzer. More on pants kicking later.

Well, Rhi likes my idea, and if I can keep Methos' Krycek and Matthew's Krycek separate, I may have something here. Cool.
