Ooh! People!
Feb. 15th, 2002 07:22 pmMaybe I should say something about the hot guys or the stories or the art of writing, or the various fandoms, but my first reaction is and (I hope) always will be: Ooh! People!
Fun people. Intelligent people. Interesting people. I love fans. They can sometimes be infected with dumb-ass disease, but you so rarely see evidence of that at cons. I have to kick myself at times to get out of lurker mode - to stop listening in on a conversation and just speak the hell up, but when I do, it's always rewarding.
I'm here! Yay! Okay, time to go be busy again.
