Lori was talking about an Andromeda story last night, and I thought, what the hey, I could always use a fandom shift every once in a while.

So: Shame by Cassiopeia.

Really, really good. I'm not familiar enough with canon to pass verdict on the characterization that way, but there was depth and richness there that only speaks of care on the part of the author.

Booksale: The first day

Blah blah morning blah work blah blah blah computers blah blah booksale.

Wait, wait - back that puppy up.

Booksale. One large warehouse, a metric shit-ton of books, and a thousand rabid bibliophiles who waited in the rain for this.

I actually got a number of duplicates - things I already had in my library, but the really good stuff you need duplicates of so you can lend and give away and generally evangelize. Others were fairly new books I haven't had a chance to nab out of the bookstores, so more power to me! Anyway: ( The First Haul )
