My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Apr. 21st, 2002 07:48 pmI'll admit it - I went to see it because it was Joey. That's it.
I was sweetly stunned by the end. Such a lovely, heartful, thoughtful movie. I'd pay full price to see it again, I liked it so much. And I'm a scrooge of the first caliber when it comes to movies.
I want my parents to watch this. With luck, they'll have it in Kansas City when I head there in a few weekends (exact timing still to be determined - depends on when I can get the time off.)
Sweet, lovely adorable movie.
And then after, as Lori and I were walking to the car, we saw a girl with a little pug puppy. Cute and adorable, and then I bent down to pet it, and it EXPLODED! It went from cute to a squirming, wriggling mass of licking and whimpery enthusiam. My fondness for pugs has been sorely tried at times, but this just made me go all gooshy inside.
MBFGW=pug puppy? Ok, maybe not that adorable, but still...
