All three have taken to sleeping on my bed of late. This is rather startling, as Laurier and Calvin have been slinking around each other for six months, hissing and waving their paws at each other. I guess they found a detente of sorts. My bed, the UN for cats.

Laurier has taken to killing kleenex and presenting them to me. I wake up, and there's a half-shredded kleenex, fresh from the box, lying on the floor by my bed. Just one, and the same place every morning. I need to find the pop-up box and get it out of his reach. I am glad, however, that he's an indoor cat and not a mouser. The presents would otherwise be on the more... unsavory side.

Ultimately, it's the fiction that does it for me. Visuals are all well and good, but until I read the good stuff, it's fairly academic. Fiction is where the ideal show is, the true depth that the show itself rarely explores, whether by constraints of time, medium or vision. Fiction is what kickstarts my brain into the contemplation mode that makes me chase down the episodes and watch the show.

Kit Mason just signed my doom for Andromeda with The Recreation of the Warrior today. Tyr/Harper, and a beautiful interior view of Tyr and all his foibles. Cassiopeia and Viridian pushed me onto the slippery slope, but Kit gave the final shove. Whee!
