Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I'm about to head home to meet the cable guy, and hopefully I'll get some boxen shifted. Yeah, I'll be moving the hardback fiction into the North 40, move the zines down into the south pasture. Something like that.

I'm signed up for a Mac troubleshooting seminar in October, and I'll be heading over to Harborview on Mondays now.

I have admitted to my coworker that I know far too much about Nsync. Of course, she was the one to remind me of the VMA's tonight, and she and her hubby watched the pageant Chris hosted last night, so we're even.

5pm Pacific, and I'm still in my office, making up the time I spent last Friday packing and today waiting for the cable guy to not show.

I'll see it eventually, I'm sure.

So I'm vaguely hungry and I don't really want to go to the old house and think about the crap we have to move, or the new house, with all the crap we have to shift. The Seattle Libraries are closed, and I don't trust myself in the B&N or the UBookstore right now. I'd go have tea at the little place near us now, but that's not quite as substantial as I'd like. Maybe pho in the UDistrict instead.

Randomly: we have a lot of those little eraser-head mouse nubs for laptops floating around. But we tossed them in a little jar, and now I have lots of little ziplocs to send to Mom for her beads.
