Meme me, baby

So Lucy wanted to be amused, and asked us which sparkly boy we'd be.

Alas, I'm not a sparkly dancing boy. There's not one of BSB or Nsync that I immediately glom onto and say 'oh, I'm so Lancey!' Lance-ish. Or whatever. Nope. I'm Hermione. I'd be Giles, except I know something about synchronized swimming, so instead I'm a pedantic, know-it-all, bookish witch who sidekicks in her spare time.

Braindead and jittery

Not a good combination.

I'm fed, at least, which helps a bit, but I'm rather distractable right now. Like, I don't even know what's on my to-do list, even though it's sitting in front of me, and I'm about to run off and go do the thing I crossed off by mistake, so I can cross it off for real.

Plus, I want to pout because I left the copper nail polish at home, and all I've got stashed here is bland pink. I'm so not in a pink mood. Lunch will be long - make my deposits and dash home for the nail polish and the numbers for MSN to bug them about the DSL line again.

Except now I've got to get that new user in Transplant set up.

Oh yeah. Right.

*hits hormones with a stick*

I fell better than this morning, that's for sure. I ran home for a late lunch, to grab the MSN stuff so I can bitch them out (or, should miracles occur, call Drizzle) I also nabbed a couple of Bujold's books - I seem to be going through the Vorkosigan series again.

Damndamndamn! I forgot the nail polish! Well, I'd forgotten that I'd forgotten my phone, so I suppose it evens out. But I'm pissed that my nails will remain unspiffy until this evening.

Individually packaged tea bags are the bane of my existance. I seem to want to fumble them everytime, and it's not for lack of practice - I average 6 on a work day. I'm a vision of grace when I need to open them - today I managed to drop two sugar cubes on the floor, just because I was still affected by the powerful aura of the teabags.
