Jan. 24th, 2003 02:25 pmWhat is the one thing you don't like about your body?
Adult onset-acne. My body did *not* like hormonal birth control the one time I tried it. I was clinically depressed for months after I stopped taking it, and the acne (on a monthly cycle, of course) still lingers.
What are two things you love about your body?
I'm solar-powered and flexible when I put my mind to it.
What are three things you want to change about your home?
More closets, more shelves and a pantry.
What are four books you want to read this year?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (I haven't started counting down the days. Yet.)
Service of the Sword by David Weber (April 2003 - I should remember to webscription it)
March to the Stars by David Weber and John Ringo (it's finally out now!)
Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky
What are five promises you have kept to yourself?
I have never betrayed a confidence
I do not obsess about my weight (while I worry about exercise, I haven't looked at a scale in a couple of years now)
I reapplied to the Library School
I'm paying off my credit cards, but that's more a work in progress
And then I start drawing a blank. I tend not to promise myself much because I'm happy with what I have.
