Triumphing over the minions of Tea
Feb. 11th, 2003 08:46 amLast Friday, I noticed a distressing finale to an awful trend. The department provides tea and coffee in the break room for its employees: full-caf and decaf coffee, and Orange Spice, Market Spice, Earl Grey, Green Tea and Mint Tea. The mint tea is awfully popular, and I myself usually combine the mint and green tea for a lovely mug of refreshment three or four times during the day. So, with reason, it tends to run low fairly quickly before it is restocked.
Friday, however, the stocks of mint tea had dropped so low that my first cup of the day proved to be the last! We were out of tea!
Horrified, I looked immediately for someone who could help me rectify this situation (and I must say, I flattered her shamelessly.) She called the appropriate people, and today - today I am saved! We have an extra box of mint tea in addition to a restocked cabinet! Ah bliss!
