I took the mountains in the dark hours of the morning, the deserted, dark winding tracks of the hills. While it was the perfect time of day to hit the twisty-windy bits, I was not a happy camper by the time I hit Grants Pass. Can we say ow? A couple of naps and breakfast later, and I can still feel the crash hovering over me. We're all pretty tired, in need of showers and sleep.

Calvin's returned. I had Gordon put food on the back porch, and it apparently kept him around for when Gordon returned this morning. Little bastard (the cat, not the friend), was probably just sitting in the sun until someone turned up to do his bidding.

I've had one or another of the cats glued to my lap since I got home this afternoon, and proceeded to catch up reading my email and livejournal.

I have just finished.

I have more than a few entries I wrote in odd moments at Escapade and on the road to and from that I have yet to post, but I think my odd hours of sleep in the car (or lack thereof) are finally catching up with me. But I have tomorrow off! Woo!
