Jumping on the name meme
Apr. 2nd, 2003 08:57 am1. What does your first name mean?
"Sweet as honey made by the bee." Or at least that's the most lurid interpretation I've seen. There's always honey or bee in the def.
2. What does your middle name mean?
The period of time between dawn and dusk; the opposite of night; the period of time it takes for the earth to rotate once; 24 hours.
3. What does your last name mean?
Um. Let's put it this way: I could never have a university or college building named after me because it would sound like something out of Catch 22. Hall Hall. Ick.
4. So what does your name mean when put together?
Honeybee Diurnal Building? Eek.
5. What would you have been named if you were the opposite gender?
No clue. Mom's mentioned other 'm' names they might have named me, but no boys. My brother is Drury, named after my greatgrandfather.
6. Any other name oddities?
Mom named me after a girl she knew in high school, and it wasn't until years later we found out I have a 4xgreat-aunt with my first and middle name.

1) Do you like your name?
Yes. I especially like the Day part - it makes a nice loopy underline when I sign things.
2) What do you like best about it?
It's not that popular, so there aren't a hundred people running around with my name.
3) What do you like least about it?
The nicknames. God. I get homocidal over Mel and Missy. Ick.
4) If you HAD to change your name (witness protection program, whatever), what would you want it to be?
If Michelle isn't an option (so I could keep the nick Misha) then I might go for Elizabeth. I think I'm more a Liz than a Beth. If I wanted to go completely fangirl, I'd nab Hermione. Last name Graham, since it's a family name from 3 or 4 generations back.
