Natal Anniversary decisions
Aug. 13th, 2003 05:26 pmI've decided to remain 28 for another year. It's not the impending loom of 30 that turns me off of 29, it's the pedestrian prime-ness of the number. 31's prime too, so I'll hit it then. It's just that 28's perfect, and while the entire year hasn't been perfection by a long stretch, I've got a good thing going. Why change?
So I'll be 28 twice and then move on to 30.
I haven't done anything special today, save have lunch with my brother. I'm contemplating a spa day to pamper myself, either at Habitude or Spa Scotta, but for either of those, I really want to wait until the whole house deal is done and behind me.

silenceleigh spotted an article in Wired about manufactured diamonds that seemed pretty cool. For myself, the diamond cartel makes me nervous, and if the stone's pretty and cheap, treating myself to jewelry doesn't seem so horridly self-indulgent. (I mean, as opposed to a computer.)
Other fun things I've read today whilst wiling away the hours: Who Built the Pyramids, which just tickles me pink, especially given my addiction to Pharoah, and Queer Eye For the Straight Guy: The Show That Makes Me Say, 'Why Couldn't I Have Been Born A Straight Guy?, the which show gleams as a gem among swine turds in today's reality show lineups.
