Helloooo stress!
Aug. 12th, 2003 09:03 pmI feel extremely slackish right now: I ditched belly dance for the second week in a row, this time to treat Dru and myself to crab for dinner. This house-thing is so not good for me - ditching belly dance, trading weightlifting at noon today for couch-chucking and cake. Much cake - Dru's is gone, but I've another to make tomorrow for my own birthday.
Signed another billion pieces of paper today to send back to the mortgage people: disclaimers and the lot. I think I need to take a homebuyer's class to get this mortage, and I need to check to see if the one that I'm signed up for on the 23rd will work.
Which I just realized will conflict with the August birthday bash John and Meg are throwing for the Leo Collection (Lori, Gordon, John, Dru and me) And helping Lori move that weekend. Shit.
And that's not even going into the packing that I'll be trying to cram in there over the weekend. Oi. Dru's helping: bringing things up from the basement to be sorted and stacked, but he has little idea what's mine and what's Lori's. I need to be doing things every night (says the nagging brother) but I'm rather all about the apathetic instead.
Work is just icky, and I'm looking forward to hiding away at Harborview tomorrow.
