After seeing this lovely spoiler for Bujold's next book (still in progress, dammit!) I'm more enthused than ever about tonight's signing. Whee! I may hear more!

Since I'd already bought one of the pre-signed copies last week, and Lois was signing things beforehand, I got Komarr, A Civil Campaign, Diplomatic Immunity and Curse of Chalion signed aforehand, and skipped out on the waiting bit after the reading.

She read the third chapter from her newest, unfinished novel, tentatively entitled the Hallowed Hunt. ( Cutting for the spoiler-phobic )

Anyway, fun evening looking at bookbinding things before I wandered upstairs for the signing/reading, and now I mustmustmust eat.
