Oct. 21st, 2003 12:46 pmHmm.
Wetwet day yesterday, and I even biked in. I was doing fine until *after* my shower and change at the IMA, and got wetter (in my work clothes!) on the 1/4 mile to the office, than on the 4 miles from home.
I had to borrow my officemate's umbrella to head upcampus to grab my veggies, and gave up on the idea of even bringing my bike home on the bus.
I went out after dinner last night to get the wool... yarn, that is - it's a fairly cheap acrylic, for my quidditch sweater, and I've got a few rows on on the bus this morning, when I decided to peer a little more closely at the movie pictures. I was right, they are a 2x2 rib, not the plain knit I've started on, but they don't fall like a rib. Ah well, this is easier. And I did find one solitary picture of Oliver Wood that even gives me the hint of an idea of where the gold block in the middle falls.
Interestingly enough, I'll probably be paying more for the patches on the robes and sweater than for the yarn, cloth and dye itself. This amuses me.
