Why am I at work?

Bleah - I've been fighting off something since Tuesday - sore throat (like someone's stabbing me in the neck) and a slight fever, and yet, I'm still here.

I'd thought (very briefly) about doing Nanowrimo, but with the costume thing going down to the wire, Nanny's death and now being sick, I'm lucky to make it through dinner before going to bed, much less writing.

Ah well. It's cool to watch everyone else be creative.
