Jan. 12th, 2004 11:03 amJust spoke to our HR person, and she's going to find out for me *why* the Distance Learning classes aren't eligible for tuition waiver. A little information, and maybe I can tip the scales.
I should also find someone at the iSchool to speak to, see what's going on at their end, why they cancelled evening classes, and if they would support tuition waiver as a school (You'd think!)
Boss-man's mentioned PHP/MySQL for a future (months and months away) project, but in the interests of mucking around with tacit approval, I've dug out my recs database notes. John's just recently got MySQL running, so I can mess around on rabidpug to my heart's content, and I've got the database itself mostly running. Now to see if I can grok PHP.
