I had a kind of a thought, but I was almost asleep and the computer was off, so it died.
I did have a doozy of a dream about being the object of many matchmaking efforts - Tim and Amy (college friends) failed spectacularly, but Rhi and Dragon came through in the end - he actually showed up! Except I woke up before I could see what he looked like. Poop.
So after baked french toast and tea, I popped across the street and started looking for something to do. Compared to the overflowing mess on Friday, Sunday was a sparse sort of day. There were still people lined up outside for the half-off sale. After tidying up the tables, my job was to sit there and count books - hardbacks, mass market paperbacks and off-size paperbacks were all different prices, nevermind the other odd stuff that appeared. I only made one major goof all day, totalling 68 books instead of 88, but the gal caught me before I handed it over. The worst part was leaning over the table sorting everything out - oi! my back!
It was interesting seeing the sorts of things people brought by - some of which I was rather envious of. I did get a couple chances to nip out and take a browse of some things - I got a couple of cookbooks and a few trashy romances for the slow periods.
I am very glad I took tomorrow off - I need some sort of proper weekend after slaving away!
