May. 4th, 2004 04:40 pmDell is pissing me off - the cat-be-spewed laptop is under their Complete Care warranty, as are all of our computers, ever since the Dreaded Hot Chocolate incident. Only Dell is trying to tell me it's not, and keep that cursed thing away from them! I told them: 'Don't make me dig out my purchase order!' Because next would be the boiling oil and crocheting their intestines into a cute little kitty-eared cap.
My second book is sold! I noticed I had two copies of Gnomes on my shelf, and while I adore the book, I don't really (yes, Mom, heard you the first time, get out of my head!) need two copies. I get to trot back to the post office tomorrow.
Got my map of Olympia at the bookstore today. Mom & Dad have had an offer on the house - too low, but Mom's making noises like she'll be in town by the weekend. We'll know tomorrow, but yikes! I have to clean! And excavate my couch again!
My coworker - the bastard (though, really, he's a sweet guy whose bastardy is entirely situational) who's resigning and leaving us extra-short-handed this month left this morning, and now we've already got the support requests pouring in. Grr.
Dru's in a walking cast meant for walking now, not the one he wasn't supposed to walk in, but did anyway. He's coming with me Thursday for moral support whilst I bat my eyes at the judge and ask, please, I didn't expect the brakes to fail, don't make me pay the evil fine. We were supposed to have dinner tonight, but he and his girlfriend decided to break up this morning or last night or something. So, one cute brother, slightly gimpy, on sale now!
