Busybusy

*pokes program* Huh. I didn't know that Now Up-to-Date would take all of my Palm and Outlook calendars and import them without even prompting me. Whaddya know?

So. Busy week. T is leaving - his last day is/was today, and then he's off for the east coast. We still don't have a replacement hired yet. K, who was out on maternity leave, is *moving* now: off to the southwest. and so she won't be coming back at all now. So we're understandably quite busy. Heh. And in the midst of this, we're trying to kick start a new help desk software to keep track of how busy we're going to be in the next month or two.

Hm. Apparently the PB&J sandwich that's been in the fridge for aeons is K's. Eww. That's going away now.

I'm a bit tired the past couple of days: my own fault. Papa gave Mom & Dad some money, and they decided to trickle it down to Dru and me. Dru's got himself a new(ish) truck, and I got myself a new computer. I got to put it together Wednesday, and then I started playing with disk partitions, and the OS and the billion patches Windows is heir to, and trying to decide what I want to use it for, besides the game my friends seem bound and determined to drag me into. Not that I'm complaining much: between the revived comics interest, there's the super-hero cartoons: fandom seems to want me to play City of Heroes, too.

I'm thinking Hermia, Amazon Librarian. With her side-kick, Bibliophile.

Dru and I are meeting for lunch tomorrow, so he can show me his truck and I can show off my toy and my p-patch. Which probably needs weeding. I also want to hit the bank, the farmer's market, the library and the game store.
