Canonical Bible slash: David/Jonathan

I so want to take tomorrow off, but we're doing the Song of Solomon in class, and I can't tell you how excited I am that we'll be covering erotic love poetry. Whee!

Somewhere in the middle, I'm getting addicted to Regency romances. No energy to knit on the bus? Read off my Palm. And yet they all still fail to live up to Austen! Wah! (That's it, I'll take an Austen class so I can argue this shit in class.)

My brilliant scheme of carrying a pager has backfired - I finally get paged, and I can't read the number - the display's busted.

Am hungry. Am also apathetic, as I'll have to do work after lunch. Poop.

Well, it seems that even if I'm short of sleep, if I blow off some of my afternoon work, I'm much less tired and cranky at the end of the day.

I went over to my p-patch to see if I could find some edible lettuce, which I did, and also a handful of the first cherry tomatoes! It seems that the majority of my volunteers are these sweet, lovely yellow cherry tomatoes. So I'm having them in salad with cukes (alas, not my own - the one ripe one so far is rather smallish and deformed. I blame my cat.)

On my way back, the 74 was just starting his turn around for the beginning of his run, and offered to give me a lift. No pass in sight, just a girl (in rather scandalously short shorts) and a basket. So sweet! But I only had to cross the street, so I had to turn him down. Still, put a smile on my face.
