Done now. Wanna go home
Aug. 18th, 2004 04:55 pmLast class is tomorrow, and our last in class essay was today. I loved that class, but I'm so ready for it to be over.
We still don't have our tech person hired. Still a wee bit backlogged, and now the ticket tracking system is down - they finally give me a place to stash my to-do list, and it isn't working. Feh. Plus, I'm done working for the day.
I misread the address and wandered around the UDistrict looking for a Great Clips last night - I was ten blocks too far west and ten south. So today I called up the little salon I've passed a hundred times on Eastlake and went in at lunch and had ten inches of hair chopped off for Locks of Love. They styled it much nicer than a Great Clips would have, and still for cheap, since this was ostensibly for charity. It also has the added effect of getting my hair off my neck and stopping all those "hair's-been-up-too-long-it's-*heavy*' headaches I'd get.
Plus, cute! I'll have to take pictures later. I'm pondering color next. Purple streaks. Or electric blue. That'd be fun.
I think I'll swim on my way home.
