Work blather
Oct. 21st, 2004 10:12 amI've been attempting to avoid actual work at work this week. Monday we had our IT meeting, and looked at some of the stats from the new ticket-logging software. Bossman and CoworkerJ haven't been entering their tasks, but I think I'd be in the lead anyway. Both in number of calls and hours spent on the calls. Overworked and underpaid. Whee.
And of course, coworkerR is off to a conference in Chicago today and tomorrow, and he was #2 - I'm handling all his calls. I miss him. Mostly because he gets the piddly shit calls: "How do I do a find in Excel?" Shit you not - this is an admin assistant asking this, who's supposed to do the same sort of thing *daily*.
So avoidance isn't exactly working.
