Thank you, Jane.
It seems I'm over the last orgy of romance novels that I picked up at the Library Sale. I've got a stack of Georgian/Regency/Early Victorian history books that I'm going through now - I finished a bio of Fanny Burney last night. George III - not so much the villain he's painted to be in your basic high school American History class. Also, some interesting insight into the British political morass out of which spawned our own infant system.
My knitting projects have stalled out in favor of reading on the bus, but I'll get them kick-started before Thanksgiving. The train tickets came in the mail last night, and that'll be a laid-back trip.
The other vacation I'm itching for is Veteran's Day next week. I'm taking the Friday off as well, so I'll have a four day weekend over which to completely rearrange my computer desk and do some organizing and clean-up around the apartment.
I need to update my resume and perhaps persue more professional certifications in my field - not just for emigrating, but in case the work load here (we're now in the 11th month of being short-handed) stays too horrendous.
Thank you, Jane.
