Weekend Update

sisterfish, johnstown and Gordon to the Kilt Perving Festival (also known as the Highland Games), it was all to the good. Got myself a lovely muted plaid lambswool ruana and a couple of nice sarongs. Saw some lovely dancers - both of the 'wow, he can do the splits!' type and a couple of mini-dancers! (all of 7 years old, and cute as can be.) The dog agility demos are always fun, and invoke my dog lust. Want yard (and house space) before I give in, though.
We left a little early, and I spent a little while on WoW before heading out to Lori's birthday party in Lynnwood. I, and I think we all, ate too much, and then did evil and perverted things to the Kermit doll Lori had received. Good times.
Since my Victoria plans have been delayed, I've been thinking of having a tea party on Sunday the 13th. The Queen Mary near me is a little too froufrou, and I'm not sure it could fit everyone I hope would come. Meg says she has a line on the Sorrento, which sounds marvelous - I haven't been there for tea, and they're already a bit cheaper than the Georgian Tea Room at the Olympic.
Got my pally to 57 (off discovery xp, love it!) and headed into Scholomance last night. Couple of veterans (the both of us on mages) and some newer folks -johnstown hadn't ever been into the instance before. We wiped a bunch, but it was fun, and I learned a bit more about the pally, being an off-tank and a healer (with a piss-poor mana pool)
Heading out for BWL in a few minutes, now that I'm done talking about work training plans with da boss. I'm ... eh. It's lovely out, I don't want to raid after all.
