Aug. 6th, 2006 03:26 pm*sigh* So I get my car insured just in time to hear there's an offer on the house I wanted to see this afternoon. Bleah. Seattle housing sucks. Someone wave a wand and conjure the perfect house for me, 'cause I'm tired.
Yesterday was hectic - early errands and farmer's market, and I'm just about to relax when I realize I needed to be downtown in half an hour to be a demo body for the Sleepless in Seattle anesthesia conference for Ali. Buses being what they are (and the car not insured yet) I make it late, and Ali's boss is on the table, and her sub-boss tells me to go home.
Well, I'm stubborn, and I hang out long enough to actually ask the boss if she wants to swap, which she totally does. I'm much more ok with having strange doctors draw on my neck in washable markers. :)
Speaking of insurance, Allstate can go blow Arctic bunnies. The local agency was so not getting back to me - I'm going with Geico, who treated me so very well during that whole being sued fiasco.
